Tony & I have lived at Park View since 1988 and each year we have tried to add improvements
to the CL.
We are have now
added a further Hard Standing - that will make 4 in all. We have a steady stream of Winter visitors and Motor
Caravans needing a flat pitch.
We
always mow around the field next to the site to make an excellent recreation area for visiting dogs, in fact well behaved
dogs are always welcome and greeted by our black Labrador Holly.
We charge £8 per night for two adults( £54 for a week), which includes electric
hook-up and awning. Tents are not permitted.
(There is a charge for
additional adults and for an additional car, although Motor Caravans may have a car with them and there is no charge.)
This season, 2009, we have had a deplorable number of 'no shows' - something that has never happened
before! If you are a new Member of the Caravan Club please remember that CL's only have 5 pitches and it is totally
unacceptable to fail to arrive with no explanation. It is particularly galling for us, when we have refused pitches
to old friends because we are fully booked only to find that in the main season we have several vacant pitches!
